After breakfast at the hotel, you'll start your guided one-day tour of Laoshan from Qingdao. Head east for around 1 hour to the highest peak on China's coastline - Laoshan Mountain, which is known as the “Number One Mountain on the Sea”. Taoist temple, stunning sunrise and sea of clouds are the highlights here.
Laoshan Mountain mainly consists of seven scenic spots, among which Jufeng and Yangkou boast the most beautiful scenery of Laoshan Mountain.
Jufeng, or Giant Peak, is the main peak of Laoshan Mountain, the highest point of which is Laoding (Lao Summit). Here, visitors can appreciate the sea of clouds and enjoy the sunrise. Ju Feng is also a good place to experience the fun of mountain climbing, however, it has relatively high physical requirements and is not recommended for the elderly and children.
Liuqing-Yangkou is very close to the coastline, where tourists can feel the soft sea breeze and enjoy the sea view in the distance. In addition, you can visit the famous attraction - Taiqing Palace, which is the place where the story of the famous Chinese novel “The Taoist Priest of Lao-shan” takes place. Your professional guide will tell you some interesting Taoist supernatural stories.
Taiqing Palace After the tour, we return to downtown Qingdao to visit the Tsingtao Beer Museum, which is located in the birthplace of Tsingtao Beer and was officially opened on August 15, 2003, the day of Tsingtao Beer's centennial birthday.
The Tsingtao Beer Museum covers an exhibition area of more than 6,000 square meters and is divided into three exhibition areas. Visitors can learn about Tsingtao Beer's century-old history and culture and see the production scene of Tsingtao Beer a hundred years ago.
