Get up early and meet the driver at your hotel lobby around 6:00 am to go to Xian North Train Station to catch the high-speed train to Luoyang (suggested G1844 08:09/09:38 or a train with a similar schedule).
Upon your arrival in Luoyang, the local guide will greet you by holding a name board. A private car will take you to visit the Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage site that graces Luoyang with its intricate collection of ancient Buddhist rock carvings.
